Ultrasounds
Ultrasound (also called sonography) is a medical imaging technique that uses high-frequency sound waves to create images of the inside of the body. Unlike X-rays or CT scans, ultrasound does not use ionizing radiation, making it a safe and non-invasive option for diagnostic purposes. The sound waves bounce off tissues and organs in the body, and a computer processes the returning signals to create images that can be viewed in real-time.
